Photographs from the Youngster Day in Holland

My Report

Firstly I would like to thank the committee for organising such a super show, they are to be congratulated on their hard work and team effort. My thanks also to all the exhibitors for their warm hospitality. It was a great honour to judge the Youngster Day and a memory I will cherish for many years. Sincere thanks also to Linda and Bianca who wrote for me. I was truly overwhelmed by your support and the quality of exhibits on the day. I found much depth of quality in the boxers and Dutch breeders must be congratulated on maintaining correct shoulder angulations and on the whole good mouths with big teeth. It was also a pleasure to judge so many super headed boxers and to see the lovely upsweep of underjaw which I am afraid is lacking in the UK boxers as is good shoulder placement. I found my Best Dog in Zion van't Regge Home he caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring with his superb head and lovely expression which shouts 'look at me', tall upstanding dog with good bone, good strong back, level topline, good tailset, good mouth and lovely temperament. My Best Bitch and BIS was Eva van de Meerpaal .I am sure this young lady will achieve many prizes she is of good head type and beautifully constructed, combining substance with elegance, lovely neck flowing into correct shoulder angulation, strong level topline, good tailset, very good rear angulation which powered her around the big ring with little effort...a credit to her kennel. I wish the Kringgroep Z.O. Drenthe every success for the future and judging by the support they received at the show they will go from strength to strength. Sincere thanks for a superb day.
